Current status
- Advertising: not active. We do not show ads at the moment.
- Affiliate links: none. No link on this site earns us a commission at the moment.
- Sponsored content: we have not published any sponsored content.
How this site may make money
Running a research site costs money. We may use the following, always labeled:
- Display advertising served by Google AdSense. Ads appear in marked spaces labeled "Advertisement" and are never styled to look like our content. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, ad personalization depends on your choices in Google's consent message.
- Affiliate links. If we add them, a link to a vendor may earn us a commission when you buy, at no extra cost to you. Pages with affiliate links will say "Some links on this page may earn us a commission," and the links will be marked as sponsored in the page code.
- Sponsored content, if we ever publish it, will be labeled "Sponsored" at the top and kept separate from our guides and comparisons.
What money cannot buy
- Inclusion, exclusion or position in any table, list or ranking.
- Changes to our conclusions or to how a product is described.
- Removal of accurate information a vendor does not like.
Vendors are included because they are relevant to our readers, whether or not they have an affiliate program.
