How to report an error

Send us the page address, what is wrong and, if you can, a link to the source that shows the correct information.

Vendors can report outdated pricing the same way. A link to your public pricing page is the fastest way for us to confirm a change.

What happens next

1. We check the report against the original source.
2. If the report is confirmed, we update the page and, for prices, the data that feeds the tables and calculators.
3. For material errors (a wrong price, a wrong fact, a misleading statement), we add a note at the end of the page with the date and what changed.
4. Routine price refreshes update the "Prices checked" date instead of adding a note.

We reply to every report that includes a way to reach you.

What we do not change on request

We do not change rankings, conclusions or wording because a vendor prefers it, unless the report shows a factual error.
